Dash GPS Map

A modern navigation look for the in-cab GPS, Route Advisor, and world map. Part of the Dash GPS series, it is designed to match Dash GPS Displays and Dash GPS Voices, but works on its own with any truck or car.

What it changes

– Blue route with white turn arrows and a brighter blue for the stretch you are currently on.
– Red player arrow with a white outline, making it easy to spot on any road.
– Custom icon set for fuel, rest stops, service, weigh stations, dealers, recruitment, garages (your own garage is gold), destination flags, delivery drop-offs, cargo pickups, viewpoints, photo spots, landmarks, tourist boards, and your fleet—all in one matching style. Viewpoints, photo spots, and landmarks appear grey until found and gold once completed.
– Company logos on the GPS so you can identify each yard as you pull in, plus larger company names.
– Tilted 3D GPS view, with a lower camera angle like a real car navigation unit and a little more map around you.
– Calmer colors: roads you haven’t driven are slate grey, company yards and lots are a softer amber, and buildings are warm grey. Roads you have driven retain the game’s original color.
– Thicker roads at GPS zoom levels.
– Restyled freight market and fleet manager maps to match.

Compatibility

– Made and tested on 1.61.
– Changes the game’s map settings (def/map_data.sii), so it cannot be combined with other mods that change the GPS colors or world map background. Use one or the other. Load Dash GPS Map near the top of your mod list.
– Works with every truck and car, with or without the Dash GPS Displays units.
