Dash GPS Displays – Semi Trucks
The semi truck version of my dash GPS mod: an aftermarket dash GPS for every SCS truck in the game, working together with the truck’s own centre screen.
The unit
Buy Dash GPS Display Wide 10″ at any service or upgrade shop: Accessories, in the same slot as the game’s Portable Navigator and Cellphone.
It sits on the dash top on most trucks. On the Kenworth W900, Peterbilt 389 and the Volvo VNL / VNL 2018 it hangs from the top of the windshield, where it stays out of the hood mirrors and the view ahead.
Navigation on the unit
Live map with the speed limit, your speed, cruise control set speed, time remaining (ETA), fuel range, heading, clock and outside temperature. A LOW FUEL flag appears when the game’s low-fuel warning comes on.
Pages on the truck’s own centre screen

Truck info – Truck card (coolant, oil temperature and pressure, air pressure, battery, DEF level, fuel left, fuel level, economy now) and Trip card (distance, drive time, average speed, average economy, fuel used, odometer, drive time left, gear, engine hours)Map only – the map across the whole screen with the speed limitStandby – a day or night road picture with the clock, heading, fuel range and temperatureScreen off
Switch pages with the game’s Infotainment Display Mode control (Options > Keys & Buttons).
Interiors without a centre screen
The base interiors of the Cascadia 2019, LoneStar, LT, Mack Anthem and Pinnacle, and the International 9900i, have no centre screen. There the unit itself carries four pages: Navigation, Truck info, Map only and Standby.
Day and night

Headlights off: day mode. Headlights on: night mode with a dark map and a night standby picture.The screens dim with the game’s dashboard backlight setting.
Trucks
Freightliner Cascadia (2019 and 2024), International LoneStar, LT and 9900i, Kenworth T680, T680 (2022) and W900, Mack Anthem and Pinnacle, Peterbilt 389 and 579, Volvo VNL, VNL (2018), VNL (2025) and VNR Electric, Western Star 49X, 57X and 5700XE. Every cab and interior of each truck.
Truck-specific notes

Volvo VNL (2025) – its gauge cluster already uses the speed readout as many times as the game allows, so the unit shows your speed on a small needle dial instead of digits.Volvo VNR Electric – battery truck: its centre screen shows battery charge, energy left and energy used instead of fuel, oil and coolant.Western Star 5700XE – the unit only; the truck’s own screens are not changed.On both battery trucks the unit shows RANGE and LOW BATTERY instead of FUEL RANGE and LOW FUEL.Some trucks’ gauges use a readout as often as the game allows (three times per truck). Where that happens the item is left off our screens or shows “–” rather than a made-up value.
Requirements and compatibility

Made and tested on 1.61. SCS trucks only (truck DLCs where you own them).Turn off other mods that change the trucks’ GPS or centre screens (for example ETA / rest-stop GPS screen mods). They use the same screen files, so only one can work.Mods that change only the gauge clusters are fine.Load it above other mods that change the same trucks’ interiors.
