This is a ReShade MasterEffect Reborn preset made for ATS, it makes the lighting and the colors as realistic as possible + few effects (not to confuse realistic with beautiful – sometimes reality sucks- ).
It is recommended to turn off the in-game anti-aliasing and the DOF, this preset takes care of them.

– Install :
Extract the 4 files inside “American Truck Simulatorbinwin_x64” folder.
– Uninstall :
Remove the 4 files from “American Truck Simulatorbinwin_x64” folder.

where is the folder located (American Truck Simulatorbinwin_x64)? i cant seem to find it
It’s in C:\program files\American Truck Simulator\bin\win_x64
As I was saying this crashes my game at startup and the only evidence I can show you is this log.

I had the same problem. Turns out I was missing some Directx components. Try Googling “DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)”, download that from Microsoft, unpack and install it.

Open Mastereffect.h with notepad or notepad++
#define USE_SHARPENING = 0 to 1.
#define fSharpStrength = 0.11 to 0.35
#define USE_DEPTHOFFIELD = 1 to 0.
#define USE_GRAIN = 1 to 0.
This looks very very realistic! good work! If I had a Game Compagnie, I shall say: I WANNA HIRE U GUYS!
To turn the blur off , go inside MasterEffect.h and change : #define USE_DEPTHOFFIELD = 1 to 0.
To turn the grain effect off, change: #define USE_GRAIN = 1 to 0.

Colors look way more realistic but the blur is just too much to bear, you lose all the tiny details.
Just tried this and made my game blurry as hell.
Promptly uninstalled.
True. In sample video it looks like someone forgot his spectacles at home, its blurry. This is partly good but bit too desaturated. Looks good but need these issues settled.
Inside MasterEffect.h change : #define USE_DEPTHOFFIELD = 1 to 0, and the blur is gone.
It is recommended to turn off the in-game anti-aliasing and the DOF to avoid too much blur.
I really like it. It is definitely an alternative to SCS’s beautiful colourful world as it adds a more realistic touch. U can feel the mid-day sun burn down on you!
I have no idea what it takes to create this mod but I was wondering if the grainy image is intended. Or is it my setup?
