Rather than making them invisible, how about making them flash red instead of yellow. Red barriers would make more sense. After all red means stop. Yellow means proceed with caution. SCS got this wrong.
All it does is make the barriers that prevent you from going on certain roads invisible. They still exist though so they’ll prevent you from going where SCS doesn’t want you to go.

unfortunately it has no use since you still hit an invisible wall when passing into a closed road…
