This mod adds a 1988 Utility 2000R 40′ x 96″ reefer trailer. It features an animated Thermo King Super II refrigeration unit, advanced coupling, and full use of the trailer paint job system’s current feature set.

It should read they were only a special order for food delivery companies. And that could also mean other companies instead of Utility.
In 1988 Utility built 48″ reefers. Used for both singles and doubles. 40″ reefers were not built in 1988. They were by the late 60s.
I know as I pulled a Utility reefer out to California from Northern NY and back to Montreal, PQ. Many times from 1981 to 1991.
