This climate mod is based on the Piva Weather Mod for Euro Truck Simulator 2 but with some added improvements such as:
– Mod adapted to 1.6 version of American Truck Simulator
– Removed obsolete files
– Changed the size of some textures
This mod is compatible with any map (for example: MHAPro Map)
Some features of the model are:
– 62 high-resolution sky textures
– 13 types of weather during the day
– 12 types of dawn
– 13 types of sunset
– 14 types of evening
– Several types of night
– No Bloom
– Shadows of clouds
– Realistic colors
– Variable weather
Recommendations:
– Enable HDR
– Disable color correction
– This mod must be in first position in the list of active mods
Tested on the 1.6.2.4s game version

Oh! I am sorry that you have problems with the mod but I run the mod in American Truck Simulator and the game does not crash so I think that you must have some mod that is creating conflict with this mod.
You must disable all mods that you have activated and test one by one every mod you have along with this mod to know which is creating conflict and causes the game to crash.
I have driven in this weather mod now for a good few hours and already I can tell that it still falls short of “real weather, real experience.” as a Photographer I can see that there is no real contrast (NO ENOUGH BLACK) in shadows and a bit more GREEN under the trees and the grass. Don’t get me wrong, I think this is much better the the default SCS weather by far and have found no fault yet. But even in the brightest light you have the darkest shadows. Maybe it has to do with the SCS graphics engine more than anything. Just saying.
I’m fairly sure this isn’t compatible with CanaDream. I was crashing around the LA area, and my headquarters is in LA, so I disabled canadream, as put back at my headquarters, and everything seems to be okay. I will have to test further when I have time. You could try to discuss compatibility issues with the Canadream guy(s) if this winds up being the issue, because that’s a lovely mod.
