Transmission and Suspension Physics

transm

Here my Physics Mods I made with the physics.sii for ATS Mods.

So, this mods change the truck roll and pitch at the front and back but have more at the front then the back, change also the engine braking like the time the engine brake before to get to the idle (Normal 500RPM) It good for a 500HP to 650HP, more than 650HP the RPM will go down faster, or if you go down than 500HP the rpm will get more time to brake.

Its my first so I’m still working on it. And trying to make the suspension realistics as possible !

Tested with the last version of the game 1.2.x and with a Pet 389 full custom at 500 or 550HP with a 50.000lb of trailer. Also with a Logitech G27 Steering Wheel.

Sorry for my english and some lag in the video. My graphics card getting old !

  1. The best mod I’ve seen physical thank you very much

  2. lol that card is in no way an old GPU. i mean, not exactly a GTX1080 performance but hey its not that bad either :P

Judging from the video, this mod has issue common with other similar mods attempting to modify suspension to increase roll and pitch – excessive rebound effect. Definitely step in the right direction, but damping effect should be increased together with softening

  4. There is too much bounce (soft) for a loaded trailer, it acts more like an empty one. The air bags/springs should be stiffer so as to reflect a trailer with a load. Thanks for the mod, hope you can correct this. (I’m a retired OTR driver ((U.S.)) after many years in rigs.)

    1. Hi, I know that is true, but what I said in the description is still in progress. Im working on it and try to make it the much realistics physics I can make !

  5. Awesome mod, love the way the axles move over bumps! To much bounce tho, other then that excellent work! Keep it up!

  6. Realistic… if it were a BOAT !!!
