Figure the calculations to be 1 ton of freight per 1 HP on the engine for a train.

A single SD40-2 (in the pic) has 3000 horsepower per engine can haul on its own with no problem about 40 boxcars..but double stacks and 60 of them you would need at least roughly two or three up front pulling.

The truck trailers cars would also need 2 up front to pull that load.

Yeah, looks like just one loco… With a 60 car double stacked consist it would just spin it’s wheels. Definitely need to add a couple more loco’s on there to be believable.
