If someone can make just one MOD that will change this game completely for me then I want to hear the truck pushing the engine on downhills instead of it just going completely silent like it’s in nuetral. If possible can this be made as a standalone MOD please.

In reply to Drive Safely. Yep! That was the fix for open window. This mod is brilliant. I don't know how you do your magic but you do it well. I heard the blade noise from the giant wind turbines for the first time. Totally immersive when wearing Bose cans.

In reply to Meh. Wow. Glad to hear the gear grinding worked! About the open truck window addon, that's included in the def file folder now (no longer in the Options folder). I updated the Google Drive download link to include that.

So fresh profile, slowly added my mods back in and it worked!!

Every thing seems ok, as above its missing the open window add-on.
But overall I’m glad it’s working again. I missed this mod, theres a couple alternatives but for anyone wondering Drive Safely’s is the best out there.

Found that earlier versions did it. Without mod I can hear the grinding. But I’ll test this one out on a fresh profile and see what happens.

In reply to Meh. It's not supposed to. If it does silence it and there's no errors in your game log, it's most likely a bug by SCS that you should report.
