Simple mod that allows you to rotate the roof camera the same way as the interior camera, should work with any version of the game.
Please refer to the .txts and images in the .rar file if you encounter any trouble.

Your mod does not work, it crashes the game while loading it.
Your mod tested alone activated.
In the text file there is written ETS2 and is it really ATS compatible?

I’ve been using the mod daily without issues in both ATS and ETS2 since v1.39x up to 1.43x. As I wanted more freedom in the roof camera.
Unfortunately I never played earlier versions, maybe the code was a bit different back then and that’s why it crashes? this is my first mod so I’m not very knowledgeable.
No worries, this is not a criticism, it is mainly to point out that the mod does not work for all versions of the game.
Too bad I expected a mod like this, but never mind. good idea from you ;)

v2 of the mod is out and I added files for v1.36x. Tested it myself so hopefully it works for you!

I haven’t tried it yet, but it looks to be a good mod… one I’d like use. Will it work with the Tracker IR after you update it?
